Information Life, Funded. stores
Life, Funded. stores account profile information, household membership, the financial planning information you enter, connected-account metadata, synced balances and transactions supplied through supported financial-data providers, notification preferences, and security/audit records needed to operate the beta.
Connected financial accounts
Bank sign-in is handled by Plaid or another supported connection provider. Life, Funded. does not ask you to type your bank password into the Life, Funded. app. The app receives the account, balance, transaction, and investment information you authorize the provider to share.
Ask Life, Funded.
If you use the in-app AI helper, the app sends the question plus a compact, page-relevant financial snapshot to the configured OpenAI API so it can generate the answer. The current beta does not save the assistant chat as a Life, Funded. database conversation history.
Email, notifications, and feedback
Your email address is used for invitations, verification, password recovery, and beta communications when email delivery is configured. Device push information is stored only to deliver the alerts you enable. A feedback report includes your account identity, the page you were viewing, the app version, browser/device user-agent string, and the text you submit. It does not automatically attach balances, transactions, bills, goals, debts, or other financial records.
How information is used
The beta uses this information to provide budgeting, planning, account syncing, household collaboration, notifications, support, security, and product improvement. The current beta does not contain advertising or a feature that sells personal or financial data.
Retention and deletion
Beta data remains stored while the account is active and while needed for security, recovery, and beta operations. Self-service account deletion is not available yet. Questions or deletion requests can be sent to support@life-funded.com.
Security and beta limitations
Life, Funded. uses household-level data separation, authenticated sessions, encrypted stored financial-provider tokens when production encryption is configured, and permission checks. No system can promise perfect security. Use a unique password and report anything unexpected promptly.
